Abu Dhabi: Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman held key talks on Wednesday with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, focusing on recent developments across the Middle East.
The meeting took place at Qasr Al-Shati in Abu Dhabi, where Prince Khalid conveyed greetings from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, along with their heartfelt wishes for continued growth and prosperity in the UAE.
According to the Emirates News Agency, the two leaders reviewed the current state of Saudi-Emirati relations and exchanged perspectives on regional and international matters, emphasizing the importance of coordinated efforts to safeguard security and stability in the region.
High-ranking officials from both sides were also in attendance, including Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, deputy ruler of Abu Dhabi and national security advisor, and Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif, director general of the Saudi Office of the Minister of Defense.
The meeting reflects the deep strategic partnership between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi amid ongoing geopolitical shifts in the region.
